Abstract

Crucial questions in our field concern how old and new (online) modes of communication affect information exchanges between interest groups, policymakers and the general public; how politicization is spurred by groups’ (social) media strategies; or how the (framing of) information by lobbyists affects their political influence. This panel delves deeper into these interrelated questions.
