Upload guidelines

To get you started on your Virtual General Conference journey, we've prepared a brief guide containing everything you need to know about sharing your Paper and presentation recording with fellow participants.

Sharing your Paper

  • Only the person listed as Presenter can upload the Paper
  • Papers should be uploaded in PDF format, in English
  • Once uploaded, your Paper will be discoverable only for signed in My ECPR users
  1. Go to My Events in your My ECPR account
  2. Click Full details under General Conference 2021(Virtual Event)
  3. Click Manage Paper > Browse > Select your Paper > Open/OK > Upload
  4. Click View Document to ensure that it has been uploaded successfully
  5. You can also use this facility to replace your Paper or remove it after the event

Having difficulty uploading your Paper? Contact our Events Team.

Prefer not to upload your Paper? You can share it directly with your Panel Chair/Discussant via email. However, please note that for GDPR compliance reasons, the ECPR is unable to share these email addresses with you.

Sharing your presentation recording

Please note that pre-recording your presentation is optional, and does not substitute full Paper upload.

  • Available on demand –  your presentation won't be missed
  • Global reach –  showcase your research to participants in any time zone
  • Peace of mind – a handy back-up option in case of technical issues while presenting live
  • Name your video as followed: Panel Number_ Last Name. For example: P021_Smith
  • Upload your file to OneDrive and using the password GCvideo21

Once uploaded, we'll make your video available to view on demand.

NB: By uploading your video, you consent that it will be made available to all users of the ECPR website and accessible via search engines. If you don't agree with this, please refrain from uploading your video.
