Getting to campus

The KU Leuven Faculty of Law (Tiensestraat 41, 3000 Leuven) resides in College De Valk, located in the historic city center and also accessible via the Monseigneur Ladeuzeplein (entrance between Dille en Kamille and Chapter Four). The faculty is easily accessible on foot and by bicycle. Find more information about the campus and location on the KU Leuven website.

College De Valk is a 12-minute walk from the NMBS train station in Leuven. From the train station, regular direct trains depart to Brussels Airport (14 minutes) and Brussels North Station (17 minutes) providing access to international high-speed train connections, with Amsterdam, London and Paris just a few hours away.

Find train information here.

From the train station, follow Bondgenotenlaan next to Bieres Artois Hotel de L'industrie. As you reach Saint Peter's Church, walk via the Rector De Somerplein to the Tiensestraat.

At the station, buses regularly depart for the city center. Get off at the Margarethaplein stop, next to the Saint Peter's Church, and then walk via the Rector De Somerplein to the Tiensestraat.

The nearest airport (Brussels Airport) is located in Zaventem, around 20km from Leuven. Find more information on the airport website.

From Brussels Airport, it's best to reach Leuven by train. The train station is located in the basement (-1) of the passenger building. You can find more information about the timetable on the Belgian railway website. The train ride will take approximately 15 minutes.
