Luiss – Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli – is an independent university created out of a pre-existing Roman institution, Pro Deo, between 1974 and 1978.
Luiss offers an innovative educational approach across its four Departments: Economics and Finance, Business and Management, Law and Political Science. Its goal is not simply to convey knowledge but to instil flexibility in young people, giving them a sense of mastery over their future.

A1 ('Autostrada del Sole') runs from Milano to Napoli through Bologna, Firenze and Roma. Exit at 'Roma centro' to reach Luiss.

All shuttle companies offer connections every 30 minutes Monday to Sunday. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes. Tickets can be bought onboard and online.
Rome has an integrated public transport network that includes metro, bus, tram and urban railway services.
There are 3 metro lines: A, B and C. They circulate from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. On Friday and Saturday, the service is extended until 1:30 am. Single tickets, valid for 100 minutes, cost €1.50.
You can purchase ROMA48H (€12.50) or ROMA72H (€18) tickets, valid respectively 48 and 72 hours from first validation and for unlimited journeys in the territory of Rome.
Tickets must be bought before boarding the bus, metro or tram, and must be validated at the beginning of the journey. Passengers found without a valid ticket will have to pay a fine between € 50 and € 100.

To book a Taxi, call 06.3570. It is uncommon to hail a cab in the street. Instead, you generally need to wait at a designated taxi rank or book it in advance. Taxi Apps are also available, such as Free Now, it Taxi, Wetaxi (and many others). These can sometimes be quicker and easier to use than the phone lines. It is strongly recommended to specify if you wish to pay by credit card, either while reserving the pick-up service or while getting into a taxi.
Please ensure you use a licensed taxi. These are painted white, have 'taxi' lights on the roof, and have Comune di Roma decals (with the taxi's license number) on the doors.
