About the Standing Group

The Standing Group on Organised Crime is dedicated to advancing theoretical frameworks and in-depth empirical studies in the field. It facilitates networking among members and encourages fruitful interdisciplinary exchange with a consistent flow of project information. The group offers a platform for researchers to convene regularly, promoting an active agenda for publication.

Core objectives include promoting the study of organised crime globally, initiating new research agendas, fostering interdisciplinary cooperation, facilitating communication, providing formal information through newsletters and research directories, and contributing to ECPR activities through conferences, seminars, workshops, and panels.
